2010 – Ha nacido una estrella

caratula

Documentary style music made for the Planetarium of the University of Santiago de Chile, which talks about the stars and its formative process.

I was free to decide, so I choose to make something like “cinematic”, for not totally break the classical “space ensamble” that movie industry has turned into something essential.

Obviously there was no orchestra involved, basically due to the recurrent lack of budgets that music has in south america (“No money for orchestra” is gonna be written in my grave for sure). But in spite of that, the work with samples gave some excellent results.

When I get old maybe I’d be able to collect the money enough for paying a real orchestra, but in the meanwhile, just let your ears be delicately caressed by the electronics, as impressive as the birth of a star.

In the next youtube video you might hear the full OST. I took the images from the main screen of the documentary (cause there are plenty of them, is a planetarium), so all this material is copyrighted by USACH.
