Much of my work goes directly to the publicity outbox. I’ve been congratulated for many of my productions, but those I feel really proud of were curiously not the same. “Just a matter of taste”, as I like to say. Here I list some of those I wouldn’t be so ashamed of showing, even when some of my clients decided not to buy them because “it doesn’t reflect that epic passion and strength people might expect from a sausages T.V. spot”… A matter of taste.
Ad Music Reel
A Matter of Arise
This little extract was used for sync a T.V ad that I prefer not to show due to some ethical considerations. This piece was sang by Alondra Caceres and also by me, making that famous “folky” unison that is so trendy nowadays.
Rumbo de tu Corazón
Follow your heart, that was exactly wat I was asked to do with the lyrics. The magic of composing jingles that no one knows what were they exactly made for. It suits either a sausages ad as a politic campaign, alway uplifting, always positive, just like the life suppose to be according the media people… the formula for selling almost everything. Main vocal, the unique Celeste Shaw in duet with Pancho Rojas and I.
MONEDA CULTURAL CENTER, Rhythm of Brazil
Traditional music from Brazil, with a some licks to “modern and chill-out soundscapes” (as asked by my client). The result, wonderful, specially the images from my personal friend Pablo Arribas
Escudo Rojo Wine
The music in the same level as a good chilean wine, strong and rough. Monsieur Riffaud talks about the benefits of his product, as well as the land in which it was harvested… Pure elegance.
Winery Baron Philippe de Rothschild
Another one for Escudo Rojo. “Please, listening to your music must give you the same sensation as tasting one of our best Cabernet Sauvignons… Elegant, but also modern… strong of course, but without losing the softness… intense, but mild at the same time… as silky as a monsoon… as exciting as an appointment for the dentist”.
NIDO Mother’s day
Emotional video that shows all the love that a mother is able to give to her son into well-packed dried milk… I’ve skipped the video for not making you cry.
PORSCHE
Epic and cinematic music for the fastest and most furious car in the earth. What you guys are listening to isn’t actually an orchestra, but rather a very fine treatment on my keyboard’s sound bank.
Every step closer to Home
Hipster song for promoting an emotional diving into the shopping center.
Dame todo el Poder
Cover version from the Mexican band “Molotov”
Hello Evoque
Radio ad for Range Rover
Take me out this Friday
Celeste Shaw doing her magic with vocals featuring the SoloEstudio’s big Band in the background.
Cepillate!
Definitive solution for one of the oldest conflicts in the human history of all times: make the kids brush their teeth without getting distracted by a silly music.
You and I
Another version of the classic tune from a well-known mega brand.
